In 2020, Kristie started watching cookie decorating videos on YouTube. Shortly after she decided to try her hand at it. Friends and family saw her creations and began asking for custom cookie sets for their celebrations.

In 2023, Kristie started working with a local farmer's market where she sold several flavors of cookies and cookie sandwiches. They were a hit! So she began to think about opening a store front.

In 2025, that dream became a reality. In the spring of 2025, construction began and Anchored Baking Co opened July 26, 2025.
